After getting up the nerve, I finally painted my first plein air landscape in oils today. (En plein air is simply the French way of saying "painted outdoors". ) This peaceful little pond is in Kingfisher Point natural area in Fort Collins. Aside from a lone fisherman and some very noisy Canada geese, I had the place to myself. Sheer bliss...
