Western Hats

This is the still life that we finished this week; it used quite a variety of techniques: wet on wet, wet on dry, drybrushing, glazing, negative painting, and lifting. The best part was making the little dapples of sunlight. My new scrub brush made it so much fun it was tempting to make too many of them!
